Waves By Mr. Probz

Waves by Mr. Probz might be one of the smoothest techno remixes I've heard in quite awhile, but this version slows it down even more so . . .

Drawing Wifey Drunk Talk

Most stories from married life seem exceptionally lame whereas this drunken tale renews my faith in the institution: Husband animates joke about tortilla chips told by his drunk wife

Revisting Funny Female Trickery For The GF

More than 17 million views and a great column in The Boston Herald regarding female self-hate or jokes about it.

College Education Conspiracy?!?!

A nice documentary that people who don't at least have an interest in college and education will never watch in its entirety.

A rebuttal from Playboy's blog: Four Reasons Why You Still Need a College Degree

My Trips To Target Are Mundane By Contrast

Some insight from uber marketing blog Ad Rants to legitimize the link choice: "Walmart Gets Rapped With New Orleans Bounce" Most people are simply disappointed with what they've seen in this clip.

Old School Fave: Easy Lover

One of my favorite videos from the days of waaaaaay back before Phil Collins was a joke . . . Wonder if it'll work on this blog.

Always Summertime

My favorite video from the Summer of 2010. An underrated song from The Gregory Brothers before they made it to the big time with "Run and Tell That, Homeboy."

The Shogun of Harlem

Sho'nuff is a fictional character played by Julius Carry in Berry Gordy's 1985 action film, The Last Dragon. The world's most accurate encyclopedia notes The Last Dragon was a critical disappointment but a financial success, the movie is now considered a cult classic.

My favorite part of the flick is a rather dramatic entrance into a crowded movie theater that I hope to one day emulate.

For the record, Shogun (将軍) translates literally as "a commander of a force" and is a military rank and historical title for a hereditary military dictator of Japan.

Everybody Wants To Rule World

I've been rocking out to this Ted Leo and the Pharmacists video non-stop for the past week. I must pardon myself for not already knowing about these guys. This clip contains maybe the best cover I've heard since The Foo Fighters reworked Baker Street.

Awesome stuff.

Creepy DJ Drum Solo

An Internet sensation: The Worst Wedding DJ EVER!

Wait for it. Phil Collins is only applicable in the best and worst circumstances. I think this qualifies as both. Maybe the funniest, most despicable thing I've seen in quite some time . . . Yet somehow, this seems strangely, oddly familiar.

Verde que te quiero verde

This is probably my favorite flamenco song of all time. Curiously enough, it's from the movie Flamenco. While Youtube might not be the perfect place to see it, the lighting by Vittorio Storaro is some of the best cinematic work ever done in a musical setting.
